An unexpected card of praise
I received a card very early in my role as editor that praised my quality of work. Hearing that my writing helps my readers in their lives motivates me to do better work.
W.P. Kinsella passes away through assisted death
On a fine Saturday, I received a text that W. P. Kinsella passed away. It was big news in the town (Hope, B.C.) because Kinsella lived just north of the town in Yale, B.C.
Interview with the legendary hockey defenceman Jimmy Watson from Smithers
This was a pretty intimidating article to write because I was new to sports and I wrote this in my first year of being a journalist.
It ended up to be a nice conversation and Jimmy Watson was really friendly.
People who support pipelines
This is the article that won me the 2018 Best Business Writing award.
