On a fine Saturday, I received a text that W. P. Kinsella passed away. It was big news in the town (Hope, B.C.) because Kinsella lived just north of the town in Yale, B.C.

This was a pretty intimidating article to write because I was new to sports and I wrote this in my first year of being a journalist.
It ended up to be a nice conversation and Jimmy Watson was really friendly.
People who support pipelines
This is the article that won me the 2018 Best Business Writing award.
It’s a very controversial topic but what’s rarely explored is how resource towns, particularly ones in decline, have a group of people who have a vested interest in having pipelines built.
